Dromgool, Administrative
Affairs
Leah Dromgool handles office operation and accounting
duties for Wildlands Conservation, Inc. and assists with
project work in the areas of administration and communications. She
has a B.S. in Environmental Science and Forest Biology
and a background in accounting, production and office
operations, customer service and environmental education.
Earning her B.S. degree with a concentration in
Zoology, Leah has worked with a number of wild creatures
including Asian elephants, honeybees, Florida game
fish and humans. She has done technical work in
human and veterinary pharmaceuticals and saltwater aquaculture
and worked as an environmental educator for the New York
State Department of Environmental Conservation. She
has been a part of two other non-profit organizations,
working in research, customer service, education and historical
site restoration and participating in fundraising events. Originally
from New York State, Leah interned in Queensland, Australia,
to study rainforest management and later spent two years
living in New Zealand before settling on Florida's Gulf
Coast. Her science background coupled with her
office and operations experience equates to a professional
assemblage that is invaluable to Wildlands Conservation. She
is capable of providing support to the staff over
a broad range of areas. In addition to handling the
organization's Billing, Collections, Payables and Human
Resources, Leah acts as receptionist at Wildlands Conservation's
Venice office and performs administrative functions as needed.
