Manager
Jack Stites primary responsibilities
are in the arena of land management; he is an experienced
land manager and heavy equipment operator that has assisted
us in re-designing fire equipment. Jack is predominantly
involved with site preparation (for prescribed fires), mechanical
treatment of sites (to reduce the effects of fire suppression),
and the operation of containment equipment on prescribed
burns. He is currently a member of the Florida Native Plant
Society (FNPS), Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council (FLEPPC),
The Nature Conservancy (TNC), Certified Wildland Fire Fighter
(Department of Forestry), and actively contributes and participates
in many of their endeavors.
