Government and Landowner Liaison

We have a strong background in federal and state land acquisition and conservation easement programs, and other conservation incentive programs that can assist landowners and achieve conservation goals. We work with both the government and the private sector, and can act as an effective link between them. We understand the perspective of the both the agencies and private landowners.

We also perform as advocates for effective land conservation policies at every level of government.  We regularly interact with local and district agencies on land and water conservation matters, including land use, planning, easements and conservation options.  At the state and federal level, Wildlands Conservation is a trusted voice advocating for conservation policy and budget priorities before the state legislature, and as a liaison between private citizens and state agencies such as the Dept. of Environmental Protection, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and the Acquisition and Restoration Council (ARC).
